FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION – We are celebrating America’s Birthday at The Lodge this Saturday, July 4th, at 6:30 p.m.  A few reminders for everyone joining us: Decorate your vehicles in patriotic red, white, and blue. Bring a lawn chair so you can relax and enjoy the evening. Please take one last look at Google Doc that was emailed to you and update it if anything has changed. It’s going to be a great evening filled with music, delicious food, cool desserts, lawn games, and plenty of laughs. We know it’s going to be hot, so we’ll have fans running to help keep everyone as comfortable as possible. Don’t forget to wear your patriotic attire, bring your festive spirit, and get ready for a fun evening with neighbors and friends. We look forward to celebrating America’s birthday with all of you!

HAPPY HOUR AT THE LODGE – Happy Hour is Sunday, July 12th, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at The Lodge.  Bring your favorite beverage (BYOB) along with an appetizer or dessert to share. PICKENS FEEDS PICKENS – Thank you to everyone who donated food items to the Little Free Pantry. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to stock the pantry at our local Head Start this week, helping support children and families in our community.

NEITHER RAIN, NOR SLEET, NOR SNOW But let’s not add Bees!  Recently our mail carrier was stung by bees while delivering mail.  Please check your mailboxes and nearby areas for nest – thank you for helping our deliveries to be sting-free!

INDEPENDENCE DAY – As we celebrate the Fourth of July and 250 years of indepence, let us remember those whose sacrifices have protected the freedoms we enjoy today.  Wishing everyone in our community a very happy and safe Independence Day.  And one reminder – while we celebrate freedom, our covenants still aren’t fans of fireworks – so please leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals!
