OKTOBERFEST – Oktoberfest at The Lodge will be on Friday, September 18 at 6:00 PM. Munich may be a little too far to travel this year, so we’re bringing Oktoberfest home! Come join your neighbors for a festive evening filled with German-inspired food, good company, and plenty of fun. Dinner will be catered by Frankfurt Doner & Meats in Ballground and will include bratwurst, warm pretzels, German potato salad, and other Oktoberfest favorites. BYOB, and if you have a beverage you love to share, feel free to bring a little extra for the table. Want to get into the spirit? Break out the lederhosen or dirndl! Dressing up is absolutely optional, but always more fun when a few neighbors get into the theme. No passport, plane ticket, or international travel required. Just bring yourself, your appetite, and your best Oktoberfest spirit! Please RSVP to Elizabeth Wilke by Friday, September 11, at 678-596-5545. We need a headcount for the caterer, so even if you’re only a maybe, please let Elizabeth know. Raise a glass or stein, share a meal, and enjoy a little Bavarian fun right here at The Lodge.
FALL FEST – Save the Date 10/3 – Fall is calling! (even if it is 90 degrees today) And we’re answering with chili, cornhole, and apple desserts! Join your neighbors for one of our favorite fall traditions featuring our Chili Cook-Off, Cornhole Tournament, and Apple Dessert Competition. Whether you’re ready to defend your famous chili recipe, show off your cornhole skills, bake up something delicious with apples, or simply come hungry and cheer everyone on, there’s a place for you! Expect a relaxed afternoon filled with good food, friendly competition, a little bragging rights, and lots of neighborly fun. So save the date, dust off that secret chili recipe, practice your cornhole toss, and start thinking about what you can do with an apple! More details and sign-up information coming soon.
