Social Event Calendar – The Social Committee created a calendar for important social dates.  All events will have details on the calendar. When you click on an event, you will see the detailed information in the description box. If there aren’t many details for events further out in the year, there will be once those details are confirmed.  Once the new website is complete, it will be housed there. In the meantime, here is the link if you would like to follow.

Happy Hour – February 22nd 2-4 pm at Sharp Mountain Vineyard (outside of the front gate). Buy a glass of wine and get a second glass for 50% off. A Preserve at Sharp Mountain 10% discount on all bottles of wine, just mention our neighborhood anytime to receive that discount. Snacks, charcuterie items, beer, gifts etc. for purchase too. All are welcome! New neighbors, we would love to meet you!

“St. Patrick’s Day Celebration” with Irish Chef Judith McLoughlin (select for optional glass of wine) with Woodbridge General Store Events & Classes 2 hours @ $70.00 Get ready for a fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day celebration with Irish chef Judith McLoughlin!

On the Menu:  Irish Soda Bread with Kerrygold butter, Wexford Salad (Seasonal Greens with Strawberries, Pistachio and Mint Tea Vinaigrette, Traditional Corned Beef on a Whole Grain Mustard Sauce served with Boxty Potato Pancakes, and Guinness Cake with Bailey’s Frosting.

Neighborhood Nosh – The results from the survey showed that there is a want for more socializing in the evenings during the week.  Neighborhood Nosh is a monthly meet up for anyone who would like to connect during dinner.  For now, they will be at restaurants for ease of access.  The first Neighborhood Nosh will be Tuesday, March 24 at the Woodbridge Inn at 6:00 pm.  The following month it will be held on Wednesday, April 21st at The Woodbridge Inn at 6:00 pm.  This will require an RSVP.  Please RSVP to Elizabeth Wilke at elizabethwilke17@gmail.com or 678-596-5545 by March 21st and April 18th.

Ladies Spring Tea – Join us for a delightful Mountain Women’s Spring Luncheon & Tea on Friday, May 1st at 1:00 p.m. Celebrate Spring with a floral-inspired Potluck at The Lodge. Come dressed in Spring Casual or Garden Party ready, hats and fascinators are welcome! Please sign up for something to share. Simple luncheon items, finger foods, and small bites to share. Telephone Tree – The BOD is working on transitioning the current telephone tree to a mass text format.  As always, please contact the President of the POA (currently Peter Wack) if you feel there is a warranted event to activate the Telephone Tree.  More information to follow.
